Description: Created during a particularly difficult time professionally, this piece was the only way I could describe how the professional pressure felt on my body. It was as if a gash had been made, so deep the end was unknown. At the edges of this wound, the body was trying to heal itself, but without knowing the extent of the gash, healing remained unfinished. This piece captures the tension between two opposing forces, two ways of being.
